Why the Path Exists
Somewhere between the seed-oil aisle and the four-hundredth scroll of the night, most of us feel it: this isn't how a human being is supposed to live.
Your body still expects the old world. Sunlight in the morning. Animals and plants that were alive recently. Sleep when it's dark. Effort that means something. Silence, sometimes. It expects these things the way a fish expects water, and it is quietly breaking without them.
The Threefold Path is a map back, in three parts:
- Body. Rebuild the foundation: food, light, sleep, movement.
- Balance. Steady the scales: rhythm, attention, nature, stillness.
- Being. Turn inward: philosophy, meaning, the threefold human being.
Walk it in order. The body earns the balance. The balance earns the depth.
Begin with one thing tomorrow morning: go outside before you look at your phone. Stand in the light for five minutes. That's the first step on the Path, and it's free.
